Creating an Account

To create an account on GrimChat, visit https://grim.chat and click the Create Account button on the page:

Select your desired username and set a password, then click Submit:

Once you've successfully registered, you'll receive a confirmation containing your new username (known as a JID) and your password:

FORGOTTEN PASSWORDS CANNOT BE RESET!

Note: Your GrimChat username is your selected username plus @grim.chat. In the example above, the user's full username is [email protected]. When adding contacts and sending direct messages, you always must supply the full username.
